A Personal Note from Hannah

In 2004 I arrived back in the UK after taking a gap year travelling the world with my husband. I stepped off the plane with a new name (I'd just got married), no contacts (I'd lost touch with everyone I used to work with) and no coaching experience.

And yet within 5 months I had trained as a coach, set up my business, secured corporate coaching work, had a team of coaches working under my brand and was running marketing workshops for coaches at one of the biggest coaching organisations in the UK teaching them how I was achieving such success.

Fast forward a few short years and I have achieved so many amazing things that I'm grateful for every day. Here are just some of the things I've done:

  • Helped well over 10,000 business owners to get focused about where their businesses were going and shown them how to make it happen!

  • Been acknowledged as an expert on Niche Marketing and was invited to speak at the international 'M Word Conference' for coaches in November 2009 - other expert speakers included Morgana Rae, Robert Middleton, Suzanne Falter-Barns, Andrea J Lee, Kendall Summerhawk, Sandra de Freitas and many other movers and shakers in the coaching world

  • Written a book 'Niche Marketing for Coaches' which was instantly snapped up the publisher it was offered to - they pulled out all the stops to work to my schedule in getting it published quickly (this is not normal practice!). The book appeared in the CIPD's Coaching at Work magazine amongst others

  • Launched my membership site www.marketinghelpforcoaches.com to support and teach coaches how to find their niche, get more clients and make more money. This site appears on the first page of Google for the keywords it's optimised for bringing me targeted traffic and subscriptions every day

  • You Tube
  • Set up two of my own branded You Tube Channels and harnessed the power of online video to build trust in a very personal way (and all this happens automatically while I'm busy coaching clients)

  • Built a strong network of joint venture partners and affiliates who regularly promote me and my products internationally to their mailing lists and networks

  • Attracted over 5,000 targeted followers on Twitter within 3 months bringing my followers to over 7,000 - that's REAL people not bots or spammers! I use Twitter to engage and build relationships and have built quality relationships with big players in the market within a matter of hours using my approach - THAT's how to use to Twitter for business!

  • Find Your Niche and Get More Clients
  • Recorded and sold coaching-related audio CDs internationally and launched my own home study programme 'Find Your Niche and Get More Clients' in 2009 comprising a comprehensive manual, audio CDs and loads of bonus materials

  • Got over 800 people to register for one of my tele-seminars in 2009 and generated over £10,000 (approx $15,000) in revenue from that one hour call!
