Marketing Help For Coaches is a members-only site providing life coaches, executive coaches and business coaches with information to help them to start and build a coaching practice. The editorial content is a very important part of our site and we are looking for contributors who would like to share their experiences and increase their exposure through PR. We are also interested in articles about: - How you got started
- How you have used marketing to land that special client
- Interesting or unusual marketing methods that you have personally used
- How your life has changed since you became a coach
- Book reviews - what have you read recently which has influenced how you market yourself
If you are interested in submitting an article, here are a few points to note: - Give your article a punchy, keyword-rich headline - max 10 words
- Write an absolute maximum of 1,000 words per article - ideally 500 words
- Include your contact details - full name, business name (if applicable), e-mail address, website and phone number
- Include a one or two sentence biography, e.g. Hannah McNamara is a coach with a background in Marketing. She is the author of 'Niche Marketing for Coaches' and specialises in helping people to start coaching practices.
- Submit your articles either in as a .txt file or as a Word file with minimal formatting - black & white only, Times New Roman, 12pt
- All articles are subject to editorial approval and submission is no guarantee that the article will be published
- Articles may be edited and/or cut to fill the space available.
- We reserve the right to decide when an article will be published, so articles should not be time-sensitive
- No blatant advertisements please - either for your products/services or those of others - articles should have genuine editorial interest
- No Multi-Level Marketing opportunities
- This site is specific to marketing, so articles on coaching techniques or what to do in tricky situations are not relevant unless they have a genuine 'business' angle, e.g. what to do when a client cancels a session at the last minute.
- You must own the full copyright to the article you submit - please do not scrape content from other people's sites and if you use a ghost writer, please ensure you have the rights to publish the article. When you send an article, please confirm that you own full copyright and are giving MarketingHelpForCoaches.com permission to use the article on the site.
- Article contributors are unpaid - you are getting free publicity for yourself and your practice.
- Articles may be published within the Members Only areas of the site
- Please avoid sexist, ageist, racist or other discriminatory remarks
- Articles which could be considered libellous will not be published - no exposés or defamatory remarks please.
- Please do not pass off other people's ideas and models as your own and give credit where credit is due.
