Offering Gift Vouchers to Clients

As the holiday season is approaching, you'll no doubt want to keep your clients in mind.

Offering small gifts is a good way to keep your client base thinking of you throughout the hectic time of year, and put in the right perspective, can even make for some great marketing tactics. Nearly every major business these days is offering gift vouchers. It only makes sense. As people become more and more busy, they have less time to shop for the perfect gift. Gifting someone with a voucher to their favorite store is a great way to ensure that they get the present they want, and it saves you time in the long run. Moreover, from the business owner's perspective, studies have indicated that people who come into a store to spend a gift voucher usually end up spending even more. As coaches, we can take advantage of this trend for ourselves. Gift Vouchers for Friends & Family

Offering a gift voucher for our services to our existing clients is a great idea. The mere fact that they are our clients indicates that they have a need in our areas of expertise, and helping them to fill that need through the use of gift vouchers is going to up our reputation in their eyes just a few extra notches, and that can make all the difference. We can also offer gift vouchers to clients for them to give away as gifts to their own friends. The wisdom in doing this ought to be obvious. If someone receives a gift voucher, they feel a sense of obligation to make use of it, and once they do, we'll find our customer base expanding rapidly. To put it another way, making use of gift vouchers is a good way to have your clients generate free publicity for you, and leave them feeling good about it at the same time.

If you do decide to go the route of gift vouchers, however, make sure that you're equipped to support them. One common system is to write a code number on each voucher you give out, and then keep track of which numbers have been gifted and claimed. This will cut down on the possibility of counterfeiting, as well as help you to see which avenues of gifting have produced the most returns!
