Modelling in Marketing

Modelling is a popular NLP technique and it can be used when you’re planning your Marketing strategy.

In a nutshell, Modelling is about finding someone who is currently doing what you want to be able to do and discovering more about their:

  • Beliefs and Values
  • Strategy and how they approach issues
  • Physiology

Unfortunately, under the guise of ‘Modelling’, some coaches have been known to copy and plagiarise other coaches who they admire. For example, a quick Google search reveals a number of coaches who have simply ‘ripped off’ whole pages from my own coaching website.

Modelling is NOT about copying someone’s Marketing materials. Especially when they may have spent hours, days or weeks developing them or may have PAID someone else to help them.

It’s about something much deeper and more fundamental – all the things I’ve listed above.
